Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how New Logic Tech Labs LLC ("NLT Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit nltlabs.ai, book a consulting call with us, or opt in to receive text messages from us. We aim to keep this short and plainly written. If anything is unclear, email hello@nltlabs.ai.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run our business and serve clients. That includes:

  • Contact information you give us when you book a discovery call, email us, or sign up for SMS notifications: name, email address, company, phone number, and any context you choose to share about your project.
  • Scheduling information from our booking provider (Cal.com), including the meeting time, time zone, and any answers to intake questions.
  • Communications you send us by email, SMS, or chat, and our replies.
  • Basic site analytics via Plausible, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. We see aggregate pages viewed, referring URL, browser, and approximate region. No cookies are set, no personal data is collected, and no cross-site advertising trackers are used. Plausible is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant; no consent banner is required.

2. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Schedule and confirm consulting calls and engagements.
  • Send transactional and account-related notifications by email or SMS (for example, appointment confirmations and reminders, schedule changes, and follow-ups tied to a meeting or active engagement).
  • Respond to inquiries and deliver the services you have asked us to perform.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use the information you provide to send third-party marketing, and we do not use SMS for marketing or promotional messages.

3. SMS messaging program (10DLC)

Program name: NLT Labs Appointment & Account Notifications.

Program type: Account notifications and appointment reminders (transactional). This program is not used for marketing or promotional content.

Who it is for: People who book a consulting call with NLT Labs, or who are an active client, and have opted in to receive SMS.

What you will receive: Booking confirmations, reminders before scheduled meetings, calendar changes, follow-up links tied to a meeting or active engagement, and replies to messages you send us.

Message frequency: Variable, typically 1–4 messages per booking or engagement milestone. We do not send recurring marketing blasts.

4. How you opt in to SMS

You opt in to receive text messages from NLT Labs by taking an affirmative action that clearly indicates your consent. The two ways this happens today:

Booking a discovery call or follow-up meeting

When you schedule a meeting with us through our booking page at cal.com/bill-thornton-nltlabs/30min, you may enter a mobile phone number and check a box that reads, in substance, "I agree to receive SMS confirmations and reminders for this meeting from NLT Labs. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." The checkbox is unchecked by default. Providing a phone number and checking the box is required only if you want SMS notifications; you can complete a booking without opting in by leaving the box unchecked or omitting your phone number.

Active engagements

If you become a consulting client and ask us to keep you in the loop by text (for example, to confirm working sessions or share a meeting link), we will record your written consent (typically by email or in a signed engagement letter) before sending SMS related to that engagement. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to any message or by emailing hello@nltlabs.ai.

We do not buy phone numbers, scrape them from third parties, or add anyone to SMS without an opt-in tied to one of the flows above.

5. SMS disclosures, STOP and HELP

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We share phone numbers only with the SMS infrastructure providers we use to deliver messages (for example, our SMS gateway and carrier), and only for the purpose of sending the messages you opted in to receive.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. NLT Labs does not charge for SMS, but your carrier might.

  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. We will send one final confirmation that you have been opted out and will not send further messages to that number unless you opt in again.
  • Reply HELP to any message to receive help. You can also email hello@nltlabs.ai at any time.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is best-effort and depends on carrier conditions.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers that operate our infrastructure under contract: scheduling (Cal.com), email delivery, SMS delivery and carriers, hosting, and analytics. They may process information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
  • Legal and safety reasons: to comply with a valid legal request, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of NLT Labs, our clients, or the public.
  • Business transfers: if NLT Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you and any successor will be bound by this policy or one materially similar.

We do not share phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Data retention

We keep contact and engagement information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. SMS opt-in records are retained for the duration of the opt-in plus a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate consent if challenged. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those legal retention requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including TLS in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@nltlabs.ai. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. You can opt out of email by using the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional message or by emailing us.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice (such as an email or in-product message). Continued use of our services after the change means you accept the updated policy.
